The LPGA*USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix is dedicated
to growing and introducing girls to the game of golf.

NEW TO GOLF? How to get started....
-
Get your girlie some practice time...
-
If she has her own golf clubs, take her to the range and let her get a feel for it or just let her get some swings in the back yard. HAVE FUN!!!! It really doesn't take much for our tournament play, it is about exposure and getting them on-course
-
-
Your girlie doesn't have clubs?
-
Come test the waters.... At our FREE *TGR! Clinics with The First Tee of Phoenix we have clubs that the girls can borrow to test out the game before an investment us made. This is a great place to spark interest. See below for info.
-
-
GETTING CLUBS: Visit your local golf shop {VANS GOLF SHOP is GREAT} for some help to find kiddos clubs.
-
You can get a new set with bag starting at $60 - or even just one club to get some swings in at the range.
-
-
Your girlie wants some swing help {lessons}?
I would recommend finding the course closest to you to see if they offer junior classes or lessons.
-
The Junior Golf Association of Arizona has a great resource page that might help - JUNIOR GOLF CLINICS/RESOURCES
-
LPGA provides listings for Teaching & Club Professionals in your area OR see some of the ladies listed below.
-
I would highly recommend the programs with: Elite Golf Schools of AZ!
-
The Southwest PGA & The First Tee of Phoenix offer great clinic based events.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOUR GIRLIE IS READY FOR A TOURNAMENT?
-
If your girlie has her own {real} golf clubs and has had some range/practice exposure with basic swing fundamentals, GET HER ON-COURSE.
-
Girls Golf welcomes new golfers and encourages them to participate in a fun and safe environment to get them started in competitive play. See Divisions.
