LPGA-USGA GIRLS GOLF OF PHOENIX
About Us ...   Who we are? ...   What we do? ...   How we do it? ...

The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix program is a developmental junior golf program designed for girls ages 5-18. It was formed specifically to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships and compete in a non-threatening environment.

The program meets year-round with weekly events in the summer and monthly events during the school year. The tournament formats include scramble, best-ball, team outings, parent/daughter and evening glow ball events. The variety of formats allow the emphasis to be placed on having fun and encourage family involvement.

Girls must be members of LPGA-USGA Girls Golf to participate in the events and enter the program at one of seven divisions dependant upon current skill level. The following descriptions are designed to help with placement upon entering the program.

Caddy Division – Must be at least 5 to participate and play 2 holes from 125 yards from the green. All players must have a caddy.

Floral 1 Division – 3 holes from 125 yards and score on average 4-7 strokes per hole

Floral 2 Division – 6 holes from 150 yards and score on average 4-7 strokes per hole

Checkered 1 Division – 9 holes from 200 yards with the exception of all par 3’s.
